Carbon ceramic brake disc

　　Carbon ceramic brake discs are a type of brake disc made from carbon fiber reinforced silicon carbide-based composite materials. The main components of the carbon ceramic brake disc matrix are silicon carbide (SiC), silicon (Si), and graphite. The role of carbon fiber is to provide the material with the required mechanical strength and fracture toughness, while the silicon carbide in the matrix determines the hardness of the composite material, and the silicon and graphite improve the friction coefficient of the brake disc.
